What are Dental Bridges?
A bridge is made to replace one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made by creating a crown for each tooth on both sides of the space and placing a false tooth between the crowns. The crowns can be supported by natural teeth or by implants. When the crowns are placed, the false tooth fills the space left by the missing tooth or teeth. Once complete, this bridge structure is bonded into the mouth.
Bridges are only possible if you have enough strong teeth with good bone support. Our dental team will advise you on the best way of replacing missing teeth.
Bridges are usually made of porcelain bonded to precious metal. Sometimes, there are other non-precious metals used in the base for strength.

Dental Bridge treatment is arranged in the following steps according to the results of Initial Consultation:
• Preparation of the teeth.
• Impression & mould.
• Temporary bridge fitted.
• Construction of the bridge.
• Insertion of the final bridge.
• Fine adjustments of the bridge for the perfect fit and bite.
One week is normally more than enough for most bridge work.
You will need to have 2 appointments these can be made during a single 1 week visit to the clinic or over 2 shorter visits to Budapest.
During your first visit the dentist will prepare the teeth so that the crowns can be fitted. An impression of your teeth is taken which is used to construct your bridge. A temporary bridge is then fitted onto the teeth.
On your next visit, the dentist removes the temporary bridge and fits the permanent bridge, making fine adjustments for the perfect bite and fit.
